Position Summary:

2024 Internship Program – it’s 12 weeks

Starts May 28th, thru August 16th, 2024 (must be an active student enrolled in Graduate or Under Graduate Program)

The Planning Department manages the process and techniques to develop a Demand & Supply Plans that is derived from multiple inputs such as financial models of how the business would perform based on strategies. The teams are responsible to generate the demand and supply constraints to help execute that from forecasting perspective.

Key Learning Outcomes:

  • Build Demand/Supply Forecasting Experience through live applications of real models.

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex large data sets.

  • Develop correlating output for business leaders by using graphs or other visualization methods.

  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain. Will develop and update demand forecasts, inventory optimization, replenishment requirements and manages asset inventories.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

  • Junior, Senior or Graduate level students

  • Must be enrolled in a 4-year Degree program aligned with critical talent areas (i.e. Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Data Science)

  • Microsoft Office (i.e. MS Excel(advanced) MS Word and PowerPoint)

  • Experience with Pivot Tables, Create Charts, Formulas and Looks-up (H&V)

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Detailed-oriented individual

  • Problem-solving aptitude, strong analytical skills (Business/Finance/Engineer) knowledge (preferred)

  • Critical thinking applications and understanding Supply Chain forecasting

  • Ability analyze large amounts of data and report on findings

  • SQL Data base experience (preferred)
